Basic Sauna Equipment
Sauna equipment includes various items that make a sauna easier to run and use. Some of the basic equipment you can find in a sauna room are:
- Sauna Heater: An electric stove/heater from a range of brands, the main element that heats the sauna room. Heaters of different kW ratings and sizes are used, depending on the volume of the sauna.
- Wooden Benches: Wooden benches designed for sitting inside the sauna. As Juno Spa, we make sauna benches from Abachi, Mediterranean pine, Finnish spruce and Finnish pine, according to the customer’s preference.
- Wood, Salt Brick or Natural Stone Wall Cladding: Wall cladding can be made of wood, salt brick or natural stone. It can be made with any one of these three materials, or with two or all three used together.
- Thermometer and Hygrometer: Measuring instruments used to check temperature and humidity levels. The thermometer shows the ambient temperature, while the hygrometer shows the humidity in the room.
- Bucket and Ladle Set: To breathe more easily and relax in the sauna, water from the bucket is poured a little at a time with the ladle over the stones on top of the sauna heater. Available in black or white, with aluminium or wooden options.
- Sauna Door: Specially designed sauna doors, usually glazed.
- Wooden Floor Covering: The floor of the sauna room is covered with a wooden deck.
- Scents and Essences: Essences and aromas used to give the sauna a pleasant fragrance.
